I’d like to personally invite you to join me at the RESNA 2021 Virtual Conference, July 7-9, 2021! This virtual experience will bring together assistive technology professionals from a variety of disciplines to exchange ideas about the latest innovations and research helping people with disabilities lead independent, healthy lives.
During this year’s conference, I’ll be presenting on 3 topics. In chronological order, these are:
- A Scoping Review on the Breadth and Quality of Research on Mobility, Seating, and Control Interface Devices. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 3:45-4:45 PM. Co-presenters: Sajay Arthanat, Rich Simpson, Anne Cronin. Learn about our efforts in the RESNA Research Committee to outline the quality, nature, and breadth of AT research conducted in the past two decades. See session description on this page.
- Poster session. Thursday, July 8, 2021 9:15-10:15 AM. Presenting our paper: Designing an app for computer access assessments: using interviews to uncover and define user needs. Co-authors: Susan Fager, Erik Jakobs, Tabatha Sorenson. This presents the user interviews and analysis we conducted as part of our Access Assistant project, to inform our product definition before beginning to design prototypes.
