Join the RERC on AAC at our presentations and our booth in the exhibit hall for the ATIA 2025 conference. ATIA 2025 is where the assistive technology community will gather, January 30 – February 1, in Orlando, Florida and virtually! Over the past 25 years, the ATIA conference has been a leading community-building and learning event for all things AT.
RERC on AAC Project Presentations
As part of the 400+ sessions at this year’s conference, there are over a half dozen presentations by members of the RERC on AAC! Topics include early literacy in AAC users, alternative access, design of AAC displays, and more.
See the RERC on AAC website for a list of at least some of our presentations. Browse the ATIA 2025 conference schedule to find details for all of the presentations.
If you want a nice overview of the RERC’s research, development, and training activities, head to the Chicago room on Thursday, January 30, 2025, 4:30 – 5:30pm.
I’m also presenting on our Access Navigator app on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 1:00 – 2:00pm in the Grand Ballroom 5/6. The title is Access Navigator: A web-based tool to guide alternative access assessments. The exciting news there is that our Access Navigator app is ready for beta testing. We’re running an evaluation study and we’d love for you to participate. And if you’d consider helping us share Access Nav with others, that would be wonderful. See this flyer for more info and ways you can participate.
If you happen to miss the conference, visit the RERC on AAC website for handouts.
And feel free to contact any of us about our projects. We’d love to hear your feedback!
RERC on AAC Exhibit Booth
Stop by our booth in the exhibit hall, and see firsthand some of the new tools and apps resulting from RERC on AAC research. We’d love to discuss your ideas and needs with you.
These are just a few of the great learning and interaction opportunities available at ATIA 2025. Looking forward to seeing you there!
