As always, I’m looking forward to the RESNA annual conference, this year to be held in Washington, DC from July 11-15. I’ll be giving 3 presentations, along with Sajay Arthanat.

We’ll present on our free AT-node website, that provides a portal for searching all of the published typing speed data for people with physical disabilities. We’ll also give recommendations for designing and conducting assistive technology research, particularly in the area of alternative access to computers. (See our publications page for the short papers.) Look forward to seeing you there!

If you’re not familiar with it, RESNA is a wonderful organization that provides a professional home for people who work in the field of assistive technology. It includes assistive technology practitioners in a wide range of disciplines and practice areas, as well as researchers, developers, policy professionals, and often a combination of these! In addition to the great content at the annual conference, it’s a great place to get together with others in the field, grow professionally, reconnect with long-time friends, and make new ones. Highly recommend!
